Laura Torres is a Marketing Communications Specialist for Alterity, Inc. and is an inventory expert channeling her expertise into creative content and promotional materials to display the benefits of Acctivate and why businesses do best with inventory software. Laura graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a B.A. in Advertising and a B.A. in Communication Technology. Laura considers herself to be both a big-picture and detail-oriented person depending on the project or situation at hand.

Laura prides herself on her ability to assist her team on any project, wherever she’s needed, and is always up for a challenge. Laura loves the family environment at Alterity, Inc. and enjoys listening to music while she works.

When Laura was little, she hoped to grow up to be a veterinarian but is confident as an adult she would make a terrible actress. If Laura could spend the evening in conversation with a deceased person, she would spend it with Socrates. Laura would like to know if Socrates’ teachings were depicted accurately, as he never physically recorded any of his teachings himself.

What Laura finds most interesting about technology is how fast it develops and how quickly these developments change the world around us.
